The Overview
A Day Away Massage and Spa is a full-service spa on the Emerald Coast offering massage, luxury facials, med spa services, couples experiences, and more. What started as a working relationship in 2020 has grown into a full ongoing partnership covering everything from their website and SEO to social media content and print materials.
Where It Started
When A Day Away moved into a larger, more beautiful space in 2020, they needed a brand and website to match the moment. I designed their logo and built their initial website to support the launch of the new location, giving them a foundation to grow from.
And grow they did.
Over the next few years, they expanded their service menu significantly, adding luxury facials, med spa treatments, head spa services, infrared sauna, and elevated couples experiences. The space had evolved. The services had evolved. The website needed to catch up.
The Website Rebuild
In 2026, I rebuilt the A Day Away website from the ground up with two goals: make it easier for real people to find and understand their services, and make it easier for search engines to surface them to the right audience.
The new site reorganized their service offerings into a cleaner, more intuitive structure, better reflecting the elevated and luxurious experience guests actually have when they walk through the door. The visual direction was updated to match the warmth and aesthetic of the space itself.
The results showed up quickly in search.

Their average Google ranking moved from page 3 to page 1

Total clicks from organic search to the website increased by 8%, and it's only going up from there!
Social Media and Print
Since 2023, I've handled social media content and print materials for A Day Away on an ongoing basis. That means writing captions, creating graphics, planning content around promotions and seasonal moments, and keeping their presence consistent and on-brand across Facebook and Instagram.
The content that tends to perform best for them leans into community, personality, and education. Things like staff spotlights, skin care tips, and interactive posts that give people a reason to engage. Their top post of the year reached over 4,000 people organically.
