The Overview
Compassionate Energy Healing is a Reiki healing practice offering both in-person and distance sessions for clients seeking energetic balance, stress relief, and holistic wellness. Founded by Diane Wentzel, a Registered Nurse with a deep background in both clinical care and energy healing, the practice brings a grounding, professional approach to a deeply personal service.
When Diane came to me, she had a clear vision for her practice and the clients she wanted to serve. What she needed was everything else: a name in the digital world, a brand that felt aligned with her work, and a website that could actually run her business.
Where It Started
Compassionate Energy Healing launched with no existing web presence, no domain, and no digital infrastructure. Diane knew what she wanted to offer and who she wanted to help. The work was to translate that into a brand and a platform that new clients could find, trust, and use to book with her.
Starting from scratch on a project like this is actually an opportunity. There are no old habits to work around, no legacy content to untangle. Just a clear mission and the chance to build something right from the beginning.
The Brand & Website Build
The project covered everything needed to take Compassionate Energy Healing from idea to fully operational business online. That included:
Establishing a domain name and professional email address to give the practice a credible, cohesive presence from day one. Designing the website according to Diane's vision, with pages built around her services, her background, and the clients she serves, both locally in the south Chicago suburbs and remotely through distance Reiki sessions.
A key piece of the build was integrating booking calendars and payment processing directly into the site, so clients could find a service, schedule a session, and pay, all without leaving the site or requiring Diane to manage the back and forth manually. For a solo practitioner, that's what makes the business scalable.
The content was built to speak to two audiences at once: those already familiar with Reiki who are looking for a practitioner they can trust, and those who are newer to energy healing and need a clear, approachable explanation of what it is and what to expect.
